My Den From My New Camera

This is where The Misanthrope ends up in complete indecision
about what to read next.

The Misanthrope reads here, however slowly.

The Misanthrope writes the posts from here.

Misanthrope -- remember that I told you how anyone can click the pix and see the bigger source files? I did... and I'm pleased (and a little surprised) to see that you have Jon Stewart's Naked Pictures of Famous People. Just make sure that you have any identifying materials discretely covered so that your fans don't discover your true identity.

I was just checking that out. You can even make them larger again. You'll have to show me how to get around that. I went over those pictures very carefully.

I have to admit that I always blow up these pictures because I am curious about the books people read and sometimes they have interesting pictures of themselves.

I do that as well, but these photos just show Daughter all over the place.

Devo, books are like rabbits they just keep multiplying. My main collection is in the family room. I started in college with five books I picked up from a used book store. Daughter's mother used to call the books $20-an-inch wallpaper.

I like the print on the wall--what is it?

It's called the Bookworm. I discovered it accidently back in the early '80s at a do it yourself frame and mat store in Santa Monica.

The original painting was created in 1850 and is now in the collection of the Milwaukee Public Library, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You can find it here: http://www.mpl.org/file/arttour_9.htm.
